Join us for our 2023 Small Business Trends panel to find out what small business owners need to know for the year ahead. We’re bringing together a panel of advisors in social media, digital marketing, hr, business strategy and finance to share their tips and strategies to help you thrive.

About the Panelists:

Alex Gambino: Alex has served clients as an experienced Web Design & SEM director for nearly seven years. He graduated with his B.S. in Communication with a minor in Media Analysis and Anthropology from Arizona State University.

As the founder of Webgrowth LLC, he is skilled in web design, search engine optimization, as well as other online marketing operations. He is responsible for his clients’ marketing campaign development and execution from A-Z.

Alex also has a proven track record working with nonprofit organizations to assist small businesses from disenfranchised communities with their websites and online marketing development.

Eden Sunshine: Eden Sunshine is an entrepreneur, the creator of The Level 7 System, a speaker, an author and business growth and development specialist. Eden specializes in helping businesses become scalable, positioned for exponential growth and productivity while establishing meaningful, high performing business cultures.

For over 20 years, Eden has worked with business owners, leaders and their teams in a cross section of industries. Eden says, “The way a business can really grow to its fullest potential is by shifting how people think and work in their organizations. The Level 7 System is a perfect model to help businesses make that shift and unify the approach through the entire organization.” The average client Eden engages with realizes a 200% increase in revenue and a 240% increase in profitability.

Sonja Talley: Sonja M. Talley, MA, SHRM-SCP/SPHR is a certified Human Resources (HR) professional with over 30 years HR experience including 20 years in Executive Leadership. She is the Principal Owner of CORE HR Solutions, LLC and provides consulting services across all areas of HR. Sonja is also a licensed HeartMath coach providing mindfulness coaching to leadership teams and athletes. She is a member of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and serves on the Arizona Society for Human Resources Management (AZSHRM) State Council and the Arizona Industry Liaison Group’s (AZilg) Board of Directors. Sonja’s education includes a B.A. in Business Administration and M.S. in Human Resources Management. Her doctoral studies (ABD) provide insight into generational work value differences based on national culture. Her focus client focus is the small business owner, providing customized, client-focused, and compliant HR services. Sonja is fluent in German and brings a global perspective to her work. An important aspect of her life is her family, friends, community, and involvement in humanitarian/ charitable endeavors, creating world peace one mind at a time.

Gabriel Ortiz: I have more than 7 years of experience in Business Consulting and Marketing Strategies. I have founded the company Primero Negocios and The Digital Footprint. I am also the Marketing Director at Somos Dental & Orthodontics and Apache Lake Marina & Resort. Also, I have served as a Board Member at the East Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and directed all the digital marketing division and automation on the website. I have successfully helped many companies with their marketing needs at a local, state, and nationwide level. I also have helped many organizations to effectively launch, manage, and optimize multicultural campaigns. I also have plenty of experience with Multi-Cultural Marketing with the Hispanic market and help businesses successfully raise revenues through new customers in this culture.

Jennifer Mansfield: I bring more than 30 years of experience with an emphasis on providing keen insights and valuable accounting and tax advice to domestic closely-held companies and their owners. My industry experience includes technology, manufacturing, government contracting, hospitality, and communications.

I currently practice primarily with closely held businesses, including flow through entities and the impacts on their owners, however, also have experience with publicly traded companies. As such, my experience includes accounting and tax issues related to C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies. I also assist companies going through transitions, whether it be a start-up, sale or acquisition, and the tax impacts of such transactions on both the entity and their owners. My goal is to minimize the tax impact of such transactions to allow both companies and their owners to grow as economic engines.

I also have real world experience in running a company and have overseen the Contracts, Finance, Human Resources and Purchasing & Logistics functions of a company so I understand the realities of running a company. I’ve worked predominantly in public accounting firms including Big Four, regional and large local firms and have extensive tax and accounting experience. My emphasis has always been on providing valuable business advice to my clients to enhance business objectives.
