In this session I’ll introduce the concepts of design thinking and Life Design, and how these frameworks can help create positive change in your life and work. Using methodologies developed at Stanford University and made popular by the bestselling books Designing Your Life and Designing Your New Work Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans, participants will learn how to use one simple but transformative tool – Energy Maps – to redesign their day for more joy and productivity.
In this interactive session, we’ll discover:
– Not all tasks are created equal: some drain, some fuel.
– How reframing the question of “How do I get more done?” to “What’s worth doing, and when?” can unleash your productivity.
– Strategies for redesigning the workday for more of what you want, and less of what drains you.

Through fun, interactive exercises, we guide participants to break out of auto-pilot habits, challenge the “way it’s always been done,” and build smarter, more intentional actions that drive real results. This isn’t about working harder. It’s about working smarter, living better, and creating success that actually feels good.
Explore how small, playful disruptions can spark big breakthroughs in flexibility, resilience, and creative problem-solving. You’ll experience hands-on activities that blend mindset shifts, physical movement, and environmental changes, and you’ll leave with practical tools to continue using to shift old habits and build new, value-driven ones.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a personal action plan, simple strategies for adapting to change with less resistance, and a renewed sense of connection to themselves, their work, and their teams. This is a workshop designed to help people stop repeating what doesn’t serve them, and start succeeding at what really matters.
