Tell us about yourself:
I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Something that I love to do is dance. My parents always told me that once I learned how to walk I learned how to dance. Recently, I joined an Halau which is an hula group/school named Na Maoli O Na Moku. Hula is something culturally significant to me especially since I am part Native Hawaiian.
Why did you want to work for CO+HOOTS?
Entrepreneurship and Community. Once I found out about CO+HOOTS I was curious and intrigued. After meeting with some of the CO+HOOTS team members I enjoyed the open and friendly atmosphere. I enjoy how the organization is centered on community initiatives and supporting emerging businesses. Starting a business may seem overwhelming at times but having resources and support from others makes the process seem less intimidating.
The opportunities to do whatever I want are endless besides enjoying life and traveling. I would start with these steps first:
- Pay off any debt
- Buy some land and build my dream home
- Invest my money in stocks and assist start-ups
I want to also give back to my community by donating money and even giving out scholarships to students. I would also make sure the people around me that have helped me are taken care of.
What’s one thing about you that people wouldn’t be able to figure out through a Google search?
I am a huge foodie. I love to visit different places and try new things! One of my favorite parts of planning trips is picking fun local places to eat. I will try anything at least once.
