CO+HOOTS’ latest crop of Ninterns (Ninja Interns) are fascinating. One has an addiction to elevator smells, another aspires to be a hippie hermit and another is Dr. Evil.

DENISSE MONTOYA
Age: 26.
Hometown: Phoenix.
Nickname: Ain’t got one.
Why did you want to work at CO+HOOTS/eeko studio?
It’s an awesome place with good vibes and good people.
What are your hopes and dreams with CO+HOOTS/eeko studio?
I hope to grow as a person as well as a designer.
Members in CO+HOOTS may be able to help you as well … What are your own personal hopes and dreams?
I hope to make a difference as a designer. We have the ability to use our skills for greater good and I intend to do so.
If you had 100 billion dollars, you would … Open an animal sanctuary, grow my own food, live in absolute seclusion, etc.
What should the CO+HOOTS community know about you?
I am passionate about what I do and I love to CO+LLABORATE, holla.
What is that one big project you’d like to do? In CO+HOOTS/eeko studio or out of CO+HOOTS/eeko studio?
Nothing specific comes to mind, I would love to get more branding experience. I’d like to learn printmaking techniques as well.
What is one thing people don’t know about you?
People don’t usually know I speak Spanish. Not sure which came first, Spanish or English – I remember speaking both growing up. Spanish at home and English at school.

Age: 23.
Hometown: Guangzhou, China.
Nickname: Ling or Ling Weeeeee.
Why did you want to work at CO+HOOTS/eeko studio?
Coworking is fun! I have never been able to access to so many resource than ever before, and I want to expand my personal network base on this. By working in eeko studio, I can gain professional practice in a fast pace working environment. Having the chance to bounce ideas back and forward with other designer helps improve my design thinking, too.
What are your hopes and dreams with CO+HOOTS/eeko studio?
Being able to work in a cheering and energetic environment everyday!

What should the CO+HOOTS community know about you?
I like outdoor sports, nature and good FOOOODDD.
What is that one big project you’d like to do? In CO+HOOTS/eeko studio or out of CO+HOOTS/eeko studio?
I would like to design and brand a site engaging interactive technology and super graphic environmental design.
What is one thing people don’t know about you?
I like the smell of elevators and libraries (shhhh…..)

ROBERT DOYLE
Age: 22.
Hometown: Maple Valley, WA.
Nickname: “Doyle.”
Why did you want to work at CO+HOOTS/eeko studio?
I wanted to work at eeko studio to get experiences working with clients/ and learning techniques and methods that designers use in the professional world. I wanted to work at CO+HOOTS because I wanted to gain insight and connect with people who own private businesses.
What are your hopes and dreams with CO+HOOTS/eeko studios?
My hopes and dreams with eeko and CO+HOOTS is to build a long lasting connections with as much people here as I can, and hopefully help CO+HOOTS/eeko after my internship here!

My personal hopes and dreams is to mange/own my own skateboard company. This also entails starting up a foundation to help other small skateboard companies to bring their products to life.
If you had 100 billion dollars, you would … Finally begin my plans for world domination. If that backfires, private island here I come!
What should the CO+HOOTS community know about you?
Excited to work for Co+HOOTs and more than willing to work on any project that you might need help with!
What is that one big project you’d like to do? In CO+HOOTS/eeko studio or out of CO+HOOTS/eeko studio?
One big project that I want to do is an event/kickoff for local artists/entrepreneurs/ and musicians to help bring awareness to all the AMAZING things that is going on here in PHX!
What is one thing people don’t know about you?
I’ve been collecting/hoarding every skateboard I’ve ever owned since I was 12. Including the broken ones. It is not to the point where TLC needs to make an episode out of me… yet.
Why are you so awesome?
I wear funky socks, Bon Scott and Indiana Jones are my idols, and my life could be used as a whole season of curb your enthusiasm episodes.
