CO+HOOTS celebrates 4-year anniversary with takeover coworking event
CO+HOOTS recently celebrated its 4-year anniversary with a takeover coworking event at downtown Phoenix’s hippest hotel, The Clarendon Hotel and Spa.
More than 100 people from the community, members and non-members alike including Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton and Phoenix Councilman Daniel Valenzuela, coworked, mingled and networked with each other.
Why did we hold it at The Clarendon and not CO+HOOTS? We wanted to remind our community that CO+HOOTS isn’t about the physical space. It is first and foremost about the people. Coworking happens because of the talented people colliding in one space. We believe this is how innovation and growth happens and we specialize in making these collisions happen.
“What’s exciting about CO+HOOTS in particular is that it builds energy and excitement, and Jenny (Poon, CO+HOOTS founder) has done a great job building that family feel,” Mayor Stanton told aztechbeat.com. “Everyone in here has an idea and a passion, and when they come to a community like this, it re-energizes them. As Mayor, when I come here, this is the excitement I love, these are people who are getting it done, these are the dreamers in my community, and we need them to be successful.”
There was tea, coffee, coworking, tacos, raffle prizes, swimming, yoga and even flamenco. We would like to thank COX for sponsoring lunch at Gallo Blanco, The Clarendon Hotel and Spa for hosting our event, Mayor Stanton and Councilman Valenzuela for the continued support, raffle prize sponsors, non-members from the community for believing in what we do and of course our awesomely fantastic members (without you we are nothing).
