Meet Moon Gordy, CO+HOOTS Operations Coordinator
Moon Gordy listens to passions while pursuing her own. When she’s not naming dogs after mediocre literature, she’s working on her passion project: the children’s book of her dreams! Here at CO+HOOTS, Moon is contributing to an inspiring workplace culture by organizing the space and all that goes into creating a second home. Get to know our new operations coordinator and maybe she’ll make a breakthrough on how to organize your entire life:
Hometown: El Paso, Texas
Why did you want to work at CO+HOOTS? The culture here is genuine and real. People are invited and encouraged to be themselves. CO+HOOTS also wants people to engage and learn from each other, which enriches the unique environment. All to say… I want to work here because the people are awesome!
What are your hopes and dreams at CO+HOOTS? I hope to go through and thoroughly organize the space while also helping streamline some processes. I’d love to be a go-to person to get stuff done.
Members in CO+HOOTS may be able to help you as well… What are your own personal hopes and dreams? I’m slowly writing a children’s book and can only dream of one day working with a comic artist to finish it. Until then, my dream is just to make a different in the lives of people I meet!
If you had 100 billion dollars, you would… Pay off my school debt, and donate a lot to local organizations to better our community. Lastly, I would save the rest.
What should the CO+HOOTS community know about you? Anything moon-related makes me happy, horses are the best and I will always be there to support anyone who needs me.
What is one thing people don’t know about you? People don’t know that even though I named my dog after a Beowulf character, I don’t actually enjoy the poem that much…
Why are you so awesome? I’m so awesome because I absolutely love to listen to people who are passionate about their hobbies – you can learn so much about someone by it!
