MIDWEEK MINDTWEAK: The 3 P’s of Professional Purpose

The three P’s of professional purpose are the components of what has been called “triple bottom line” metrics for business impact. The three are profit, people, and planet and this talk will ask for participants to consider their role in contributing to each while becoming aware of emerging educational and workforce needs in the valley. The goal for the participant is leave with a commitment to align or expand current professional efforts into each of the the 3 P’s.

Matt Sandoval is the Arizona State Director for TeamCFA, a national network of charter schools. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President of Community Initiatives for fourteen years where he led social responsibility programs including educational, youth mentoring, chronic diseases prevention, and other social services.
He is the current President of the Pioneer Preparatory School’s Board of Directors, and the former President of Arizona Virtual Academy’s Governing Body. Selected as one of Phoenix’s 40 Hispanic Leaders Under 40 in 2010 and receiving the Educating Excellence Award from the Maryvale Revitalization Corporation in 2014, Mr. Sandoval, a Maryvale native, demonstrates his dedication to closing the achievement gap and fulfilling the potential of all children in the west valley.
Sandoval holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona Christian University, and a Master of Education degree with an emphasis in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. He makes his home in Goodyear, with his wife Jama, and their two children Meadow and Eric.
