Maria Zorn has been around the world, including third-world countries to help however she could.

So we feel extra lucky that she decided to currently plant her feet down at CO+HOOTS, where she is leading the charge in growing and helping connect Phoenix’s burgeoning health technology community through a CO+HOOTS Foundation program called Perch.

Why did you want to work at CO+HOOTS?

I met Jenny and Odeen a few years ago while traveling in Haiti, and have since been inspired by their awesome work in the community.

What are your hopes and dreams at CO+HOOTS?

My hope is to help grow CO+HOOTS’ community impact, particularly in the healthcare technology industry!

Members in CO+HOOTS may be able to help you as well … What are your own personal hopes and dreams?

I would love to work with or create a nonprofit that encourages entrepreneurship in developing countries through a microloan system.

If you had 100 billion dollars, you would …

Build schools and launch job training programs in impoverished communities.

What should the CO+HOOTS community know about you?

I love traveling and learning about other cultures.

What is one thing people don’t know about you?

I spent six months in Southeast Asia and Africa doing service work.
